Our program also ensures that players have goals set up for their tennis development, access to equipment advice and opportunities to meet fellow players in classes or via our match play and social tennis events.
Our Tennis Express beginners courses are a perfect way to pick up a racket and get started! We cover all the different skills needed on the court, as well as teaching basics in movement, a few tactical ideas and how to score and play positions in both singles and doubles. They are suitable for players with no previous experience of picking up a tennis rackets before so why not hit the courts, make some tennis friends and get into the game!
Tennis courses and classes that appeal to players with previous experience of playing and established rally skills..
Our rusty rackets courses (Level 2) are aimed at players who are coming back to tennis after a lay off as the name implies! We also mix these players in with intermediate players (Level 3) who have already had some coaching and a good "grip" on what's required to play and hold their own in a rally or scoring game. Classes at both these levels can be signed up as a termly course to fix something in your diary, or there are options for pay & play tennis (see below) for players looking to drop into coaching classes every now and then.
Higher level program for established players including match play and high intensity training..
If you are already established as a serious tennis players with competitive ambitions or regularly high level play, then we recommend joining our higher intermediate (Level 4) or advanced (Level 5) classes or events. These include a regular term time course for advanced players but we also run box leagues, match play events and advanced coaching pay & play for this type of players as well. These classes are higher intensity and we recommend being assessed by a coach before joining to make sure you are ready to fight hard on the court!
If you are not sure that you can make the same lesson time each week then we recommend our pay & play classes. Each class covers a coaching "theme" with coaches offering small tips on your game and putting you through your paces with similar standard players. You might like these classes due to their flexible approach and integration into your diary, or you might like to use them to enhance other tennis lessons and classes that you are already playing in. The classes cost £15 per hour, are great fun and easy to book via our online booking site.
