TW Tennis program of coaching at Kneller Gardens covers a selection of junior and adult courses that are aimed at grass roots tennis and introducing players to the game. TW Tennis currently runs classes on Sundays in the Autumn/Winter and we then expand our program to include more after school and evening classes from Easter onwards.
The park is a fantastic place to come and play tennis as it is quiet, offers free parking and amenities and is very friendly. The tennis facilities are most likely the best public tennis courts in the whole of the Richmond borough and are always well maintained and offer a good playing and training surface.
TW Tennis offers junior coaching every Sunday from 9am-1pm for players aged 4-16yrs. We run separate groups for different ages to make sure everyone gets a high level of coaching that is relevant their level of play.
Adult coaching at Kneller Gardens runs on Sunday afternoons and features a mix of courses and pay and play tennis. We also run evening courses in the peak months for different levels of play and to allow players to meet like minded players on court.

Steve is the founder and head coach for the whole of TW Tennis. He can be found leading the classes at Kneller Gardens on Sundays and is also available for private lessons on site during the weekdays (Tues & Fri) and at certain times during the evenings and weekends.

Kneller Gardens tennis is set in a lovely open park space in Twickenham, a short walk from Twickenham rugby stadium and easy to access via car or public transport.
The tennis facilities have recently been refurbished and feature 3 excellent hard courts which are maintained to a high level. The park facilities include a cafe, kids play area, basketball court and an outdoor gym. Its a very well used and vibrant park space and there is always a wide range of families and people on site and enjoying the open space.
